Hallway In Building Where Raised Access Flooring Has Been Removed 09/14/2010
In addition to showing what remains after the access flooring has been removed from a data center, I liked this photo because of the geometric pattern of the sunlight and shadow on the floor and walls down this hallway. The entrance to the data center was about half-way down the hall – where the brown panels can be seen.
You can usually tell where the level of the flooring was once the panels and under-structure have been removed, because you can see a line below which the walls remain unfinished/unpainted. The floor came up just under the windows on the left hand side of this hallway – see where the paint “stops” on the wall just below the window frame.
